Originally from Japan, Naarm-based musician Takeo Kameoka blends dub, trip-hop, shoegaze, and experimental ambient. With a decade of practice spanning sample-based production, modular synthesis, and live hardware sets, Takeo’s sound explores texture, space, and emotional depth. They’ve been coined the ‘spiritual resident’ of the enigmatic 'Mezzanine’ series at Miscellania, and have expanded their live performances across events including Absorbed and Dark Mofo.
